CRB ISA Checks 

Who is eligible for a CRB check?  

Standard CRB checks are no longer available for posts working with children or the vulnerable so this means you will need an Enhanced check.

The list below will give you a insight but we are still waiting for the CRB to produce a new list.

Health Services o Doctor
o Dentist
o Optician (including ophthalmic optician)
o Director of private dental or opticians practice
o Partner in a private opticians
o Partner in a Pharmacists
Legal                     o Judicial Appointments
Betting & gaming o Selling, supplying or maintaining gaming machines
o Posts concerned with betting
o Positions in a casino
o Local lottery manager or promoter
o National Lottery posts
Others o Regularly caring for, training, supervising or being in sole charge of persons aged under 18
o Regularly caring for training, supervising or being in sole charge of vulnerable adults
o Child minding and day care posts
o Foster parents
o Adoptive parents
o Social workers and social care workers
o National Care Standards Commission

Medical                 o Doctor
o Dentist
o Nurse or midwife
o Ophthalmic or dispensing optician
