​Respite Care

Respite care at Hyperion House offers short-term residential stays for individuals who need temporary care and support, or for carers who require a break from their usual routine.

As a carer, you can relax knowing that your relative, friend or parent is in a safe, welcoming environment with care tailored to their individual needs. A respite stay gives many people the opportunity to experience first-rate service amongst friendly and welcoming staff and residents.

Respite stays are always short term. However, the relationships built between residents and the Home can provide great reassurance to all concerned, particularly if a longer stay ever becomes necessary. Respite care is also ideal for individuals who are well enough to leave hospital but not yet well enough to return home.​

Prior to admission, the Manager will arrange to meet you either in the convenience of your own home or at the Care Home. The Manager can then assess your care needs, start to get to know you and your likes and dislikes and then tailor a care plan to suit you.


What does it cost?
Our Manager can advise you of the cost once the level of care and the length of stay you require has been established. In all circumstances, the fee will include 24 hour care, a comprehensive social activities programme, all meals and hotel and laundry services. Payment is usually required in advance or at the start of the stay.
